National Nurses Week (May 6th – May 12th ) is a time to put a spotlight on our appreciation and respect for the nursing field. It’s an opportunity to honor the invaluable contributions of all nurses for their endless compassion and dedication to healing despite the many challenges facing the field.

Nurse2Nurse is so grateful for every invitation we received this week from facilities throughout NJ to come and provide peer support, wellness education, tools, and access to essential resources that support these hard-working professionals.   We had an incredible time connecting with our peers and talking about the good, the bad, and the ugly of our profession.

The nursing field is one that can be very demanding, physically, emotionally and at times spiritually. Achieving a positive work/life balance can be a daunting task when you are committed to your work. But with support and a commitment to yourself, we believe a culture focused on personal wellness for the caretakers can be achieved.  Nurse2Nurse is to here to help  provide that support.

We believe that through the choices that we make every day we can create pathways to a more balanced lifestyle. Committing to being intentional with how we spend our time, the actions we take, and what we prioritize, can go a long way towards helping us build back up an increased sense of autonomy in our own lives. It’s the small daily changes that make the biggest impact.

To all the nurses and nursing staff who are working so tirelessly each day to provide care to your communities, we want to say, Thank You.   We want you to know that we see you and how hard you are working for them, and we would be honored if you would let us be here to support you.

Nurse2Nurse is a comprehensive peer support program for NJ nurses.  We help address all challenges as well as provide support to help restore and maintain overall wellbeing. Visit us at www.Nurse2NurseNJ.com to learn more.

We are not a crisis support hotline. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger of harming themselves or if you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
